Our practice was the very first periodontal practice to open in Mission Viejo, founded by Dr. Robert Hirst in 1976 after his service in the US Navy Dental Corps. Dr. Ajay Setya joined Dr. Hirst and took ownership of the practice in 1997. For nearly five decades, we have built a legacy of trusted, specialty-level care for the residents of South Orange County. Today, Dr. Setya, Dr. Reshad, and Dr. Christen Bergman carry that tradition forward, providing expert, comprehensive periodontal and implant services rooted in 50 years of clinical excellence.

The staff, from the receptionist to technician to billing point-of-contact to Dr. Bergman, could not have been more friendly and welcoming. They thoroughly explained what was being done at the time it was being done, and extensively discussed what to expect for upcoming surgery, from the procedure to after care and costs. The ENTIRE TEAM is TOP NOTCH Professional PATIENT Caring Kind & VERY ATTENTIVE & THOROUGH! I did LANAP Laser gum procedure & it was minimal discomfort. Excellent healing & actually immediately feeling my CHRONIC FATIGUE DISAPPEAR & BETTER OVERALL HEALTH now that my gum disease has been lasered away. Very happy with the results and EXTREMELY happy with the Entire Team at OC Perio! I saw Dr Bergman but all 3 are Excellent! Definitely recommend!
The teeth cleaning I just had with Daniela was excellent. Going to the dentist is one of my least favorite things but it was worth it! Cleaning was excellent. Price is a bit high.
Very detailed exam and instructions. Staff and doctors were kind and took the time to answer all questions. Surgery went very well and very little pain or swelling afterwards overall top notch and recommend them if you need this treatment.

From Omar who was very nice and inform in doing hes job helping and asking the Doctor questions and making sure they are in the same page.
